What's Hydrowalker?
Hydrowalker is an intelligent water treadmill.
It's a totally new concept in hydrotherapy!
It's the maximum you can get for the rehabilitation, training and fitness of your dog.
Hydrowalker offers the advantages of a pool as well of a gym in just a few square meters.

What are the features that make Hydrowalker different from other similar equipments?
First of all, quality and safety make the difference.
Hydrowalker is realized with German stainless steel, French glass, Italian design, and the use of high quality hydraulic and electric componet. It has got very attentive active and passive safety; also its esthetical aspect has been cared of. The operative mode is unique: all the current water treadmills are based on the recycle of the water, but Hydrowalker isn't. In a traditional basin, if a patient enters a bacterium into the water (for example pseudomonas or other), it will affect the whole circuit, which becomes a bacteria breeding. When, and if the therapist realizes it, because he makes a buffer of the water, the problems that arise are two: how many patients may have been infected?  Moreover, it is necessary emptying and disinfecting the basin, the hydraulic circuit, the compensation basin, which means losing a week of work, in addition to the related costs and troubles.
Hydrowalker is very simple because the basic project is very simple, so that the equipment is easy as regards installation, as well as use, cleaning, maintenance and management. This means also that there are no installation and testing costs requiring expensive technicians, often coming from far.Everyone can install and repair Hydrowalker, and spare parts can be found everywhere, not only at our well-furnished warehouse. Finally, let's mention consumptions: many types of equipment similar to Hydrowalker generate very heavy consumptions. But Hydrowalker simplicity means no need of filtration, no costs for chemicals additives (such as ph weekly check with pool kit, chlorine, anti-fouling, etc) and two pumps only, working one at a time. The very modern warmer has a very low consumption rate, and due to our advices (we always offer indications for a correct installation, also on plainer), and using already warm water (e.g. 25°C), it will have to work very little, with consequent minimum use of energy.
The motor is external, without any contact with the water, while generally competitors use high or low-tension motors mounted in the internal of the treadmill, that is in the water, with the related risks for the patient and the therapist, when working in the basin with the patient.

What about quality and safety guarantees?
It is indestructible due to the best construction materials in Europe; it was designed and made in Italy.
Hydrowalker is CE certified, and the manufacturer is certified ISO 9001-2000.
The electrical components, either high or low voltage, are completely external and insulated from the operative area and surfaces. For this reason, the working environment is absolutely safe for the operator and the patients as well. As we really care, we added some unique features to Hydrowalker: the treadmill is completely smooth and free from any protruding feature or sharp surface. If the operator slips, or the patient goes in panic, it is very unlikely it gets harmed.
The emergency stop button is located in an easily accessible position inside the tank, and can be reached instantly. In case of emergency stop, the treadmill blocks itself immediately in safe mode, and the tank empties quickly.

Hydrowalker is environmentally friendly?
Traditional water treadmills have a very high impact on the environment due to the high amounts of electrical energy and chemicals products requested during the filtering and water recycling process.
With our new system, electrical bills and bacterial contamination are no more a concern!
Hydrowalker is simply refilled with clean water directly from the main water supply. Thanks to the reservoir tank, the process will only take a few minutes!
After the session the water can be reintroduced in the environment without risks of contamination related to chemicals agents.

How much are management and maintenance costs?
A simple, but very efficient heating system ensures the water maintains the desired temperature.
Hot water can also be introduced in the reservoir tank directly from the main supply.
Just two hydro-pumps to support the water circulation in and out the tanks.
Simple mechanics and electronic components decrease the possibility of mechanical or electrical failures. This represents also an undoubted advantage in the unlikely case of a technical fault. Any component can be easily repaired and replaced by your local electrician.

How does Hydrowalker succeed in rehabilitating, and how does it work in detail?
Hydrowalker consists in a treadmill with adjustable velocity, and in a basin refilled with the desired quantity of water. In case of rehabilitation therapy, it is used for orthopedic and neurological patients. The double functions - treadmill and water - allow to realize rehabilitation protocols, simply modifying the treadmill speed and the water quantity (usually by means of a progressive variation, treatment after treatment). In addition to the press static action, that helps circulation, it offers a very useful aspect of “weight lightening” that is adjustable at will up to waterline. The treadmill generates a controlled movement, and stimulates the propioception.
The therapist knows very well how to profit of the advantages Hydrowalker puts at his disposal, and applies them to the rehabilitation protocol, so to obtain the most fast and satisfying results.

The Use and Maintenance Manual, together with all the technical drawings, the hydraulic and the electric plans, come with the Hydrowalker when delivered.

In addition to Veterinaries and breeders, who else could profitably use Hydrowalker?
Pet shops, training centers, greyhound racing tracks, or simply dog-lovers: everybody can use Hydrowalker according to his activity and experience.

What kind of guarantee do you give? What about technical assistance and spare parts?
The manufacturer releases a 2 years guarantee, according to the prescriptions of the Italian law.
In most cases, local technicians can solve whatever problem could arise. In any case, the manufacturer guarantees technical assistance all over Europe, and timely delivery of spare parts from its warehouse.

What kind of maintenance does Hydrowalker require? Daily, weekly or monthly?
No maintenance is needed because of the use of always-clean water.
When detecting the need, it is advisable to lift the carpet, spray a disinfectant, and remove with a little water the small residuals that could have formed.

How is Hydrowalker delivered?
Hydrowalker is delivered very well packed, by means of couriers ensuring security, speed and low costs.

Why to throw away that whole water?
A meter cube of water has a middle cost of 80 cents (€). With a meter water's cube five treatments middly perform him (one day of job?). If it is used chemical products, as in the traditional tubs, it is spent infinitely more, besides the cost of the electric tide used for the filtration. Chlorine every day, kit for the control of the PH, etc, how much time and how much money thrown to the wind. The result is that the bacterias happily splash in the traditional tubs. We think that is more safe and ecological, and we know that it is more economic to always use clean water. If we want recycling the water to irrigate the garden, we can always pick up it to this purpose, like in Clinica Veterinaria Città di Saronno.

Also a dog of very big size can work in a Hydrowalker?
An Irish Wolfhound male? Does a Shepherd of the Caucaso oversize? Whatever dog also of very big dimensions he can work very well in a Hydrowalker, also with the operator inside the tub.
